Whether you have a young horse, an athlete, a sport horse, a pleasure horse or a geriatric retiree; we have a package suitable for your horse. With the help of these affordable Healthcare Packages, the aim is to provide the very best preventative healthcare for your horse.
There are three different Healthcare Packages available:
- Young Horse Healthcare Package (YHP)
- Performance and Pleasure Horse Healthcare Package (PHP)
- Senior Horse Healthcare Package (SHP)

Each BVP Equine Healthcare Package includes a routine examination, clinical tests, parasite control and vaccinations all bundled together in a cost-effective way that results in a 20% discount on the total cost that would otherwise be incurred.
Upon completion of the relevant consultation, a report with all findings, a dental chart and any relevant vaccination and microchip information will be emailed to you for safekeeping. Additionally, each BVP Equine Healthcare Package will generate an SMS reminder so that your horse’s routine healthcare is always up to date!

Young Horse Healthcare Package (YHP)
This BVP Equine Healthcare Package is designed for foals and is ideally implemented at 12 weeks of age. This package is also suitable for the newly acquired young horse with an unknown vaccination history.
The Young Horse Healthcare Package includes:
- Clinical examination (including an oral examination with or without gag depending on age and education)
- Faecal worm egg count (FWEC)
- Deworming paste (administered if required)
- 3 x Equivac 2 in 1 Vaccine (first vaccination will be administered on the day of consultation)
- Microchip implantation and registration
- A report with all findings, a dental chart and any relevant vaccination and microchip information will be emailed to you for safekeeping
- SMS reminders will be sent so that your horse’s routine healthcare is always up to date!

Performance and Pleasure Horse Healthcare Package (PHP)
Aimed as aĀ preventativeĀ health examination that is conducted every six months, theĀ Performance and Pleasure Horse Healthcare Package includes:
- Clinical examination
- Discussion regarding any areas of concern that you may have
- Dental examination and float, including sedation
- Faecal Worm Egg Count (FWEC)
- Deworming paste if required (based on FWEC result)
- 2 in 1 Tetanus/strangles vaccination booster administered
- A report with all findings, a dental chart and any relevant vaccination and microchip information will be emailed to you for safekeeping
- SMS reminders will be sent so that your horse’s routine healthcare is always up to date!

Senior Horse Healthcare Package (SHP)
Your wise old pony, schoolmaster or geriatric retiree deserves the very best care on offer. The Senior Horse Healthcare Package is designed to identify any developing issues before they become problematic.
The Senior Horse Healthcare Package includes:
- Clinical examination
- Discussion regarding any areas of concern that you may have
- Dental examination and float, including sedation
- Faecal Worm Egg Count (FWEC)
- Deworming paste (if required based on FWEC result)
- 2 in 1 vaccination booster administered
- A report with all findings, a dental chart and any relevant vaccination and microchip information will be emailed to you for safekeeping
- SMS reminders will be sent so that your horse’s routine healthcare is always up to date!

For your older horses we also recommend a full blood profile and for your pony friends a resting ACTH for Equine PPID (Cushings) if indicated. These can be added on the day at a 10% reduced cost:
