Kayleigh grew up in a village in South East England with lots of horses, dogs, sheep, cows, pigs, chickens, ducks...the list goes on! She did Pony Club tetrathlons (riding, shooting, swimming and running) and some Eventing and Dressage. 

She went to University at the Royal Veterinary College London, where she graduated with honours in 2009. Kayleigh did a six month internship at Goulburn Valley Equine hospital before coming to BVP. Apart from veterinary work, 

Kayleigh likes to travel, run, swim and snowboard when she can escape to the mountains. Since being in Australia she has been able to ride a bit- cattle mustering which she finds particularly enjoyable. Kayleigh has a keen interest in Equine reproduction, foals and anaesthesia, and eventually hopes to specialise in Equine Medicine somewhere in the world.
