We Remain Open

As Victoria is closing non essential businesses, we would like to advise clients that at this time, that the federal government has declared veterinarians an essential service and as such we will remain open in order look after the health and welfare of the animals of the Ballarat region.

In order for us to provide veterinary care to the best of our ability, while also keeping our staff and clients safe and healthy, we have made further adjustments to how we will operate during this unprecedented time.

We are now conducting our consultations WITHOUT the owner in the consultation room, in fact, without the owner in the building. What this means;

  • Upon arrival to the clinic please phone reception to advise us you are here and in which numbered bay you are parked
  • A staff member will come to your car to collect your pet and get a brief history/reason for presentation
  • If further clarification is required and to discuss treatment options, our vets will then call you on your mobile to discuss further
  • Your pet will be returned to you by a staff member once the consultation and any treatments are completed, payment will also be taken at this time via EFTPOS at your car
If you require medication and/or prescription diets for your pet, we ask that you follow this process;
  • Phone ahead to the clinic to request your pets medication and/or food
  • Once we confirm that the medication/food is ready to collect we will take payment over the phone if possible
  • When you arrive at the clinic to pick up these items, please phone us and we will bring your items to you
  • If payment was not made over the phone, we will bring our EFTPOS machine to you.
Appointments can be made in the usual manner, by phone or online.

We know this is a very stressful time for all. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work our way through these new protocols to ensure we remain here and able to look after the needs of your pets
